Tired of accidentally skipping dialogue when you’re just trying to progress? Frustrated by how the default fast forward feature in OMORI stutters instead of smoothly transitioning between text boxes?

This mod rehauls text progression, fast-forwarding, and button inputs to prevent accidental skips and fix awkward dialogue stutters.

BUTTON CONTROLS & TEXT BEHAVIOR

CONFIRM BUTTON (Z)

• Press or Spamming Z: No longer triggers sudden text skipping.
• Holding Z: Triples the text printing speed. To advance to the next text box, you can either let go and press Z again, or simply keep holding it down to auto advance after a brief delay.

CANCEL BUTTON (X)

• Pressing X: Instantly prints all text in the current box but safely respects mid sentence pauses so you don't lose context. Also adding a very brief input safety window at the end of every text box so you never accidentally vanish text before reading it.
• Holding X: Activates Super Fast Forward. It instantly prints all text in the box with zero pausing, completely ignores mid sentence delays or scripted wait commands, and glides to the next box automatically.

• Adds a temporary input lock immediately after Mari finishes speaking, preventing you from accidentally double confirming or requesting another hint by mistake.
