About this mod
This is a very simple mod that makes the knife fall immediately after the starting cut-scene plays so you don't have to waste time interacting with everything to get the knife and leave Whitespace, perfect for people wanting to do a new playthrough to try out new content mods or for people like me who mod the game and want to test stuff out at the start of the game and need to make a new save file to test it. So because of my growing annoyance interacting with the same 4 objects before the knife falls when testing mods on a new save file, we now all get to enjoy saving ourselves a few seconds at the start of the game. I partially made this since while there exists cutscene skipping mods and a mod that skips long dialogue cut scenes, there wasn't any mods (as far as I know) that skip interacting with stuff in Whitespace to make the knife spawn.
I swear I'll make a non-knife related mod, these two mods (see my other mod "Rusty knife, but it's actually rusty.") are just small tweaks I wanted to make before making something bigger in scope. My next mod I have planned is a mod that will allow you to upgrade neighbors room throughout the game and bring npcs over to neighbors room and slowly transform it into a sort of hub area (think something like castle town in Deltarune) where npcs brought there can sell you new items and will have more dialogue interactions, though it might take me awhile to develop so I may put out a mod or two before then.
