About this mod

BASE OMORI ALREADY HAS THIS FUNCTIONALITY, PLEASE USE <ZIndex: n> INSTEAD.

This mod page is here for historical reasons and to point people looking for this functionality to the correct base game usage.

This is a plugin for mod makers who want to manually set the layering of enemy sprites. Using it, you can make an enemy appear behind other enemies on screen even if it normally would not. For example, adding the note "<Position Offset Z: -1>" to enemy data will give its sprite a Z-coordinate of -1, so it will show behind other enemy sprites that have a default Z-coordinate of 0. It works like any other mod, so just enable it along with your mods that use it.

Alternatively you can take the plugin script and directly include it with your mod. However, this may conflict with other mods if they use different versions of the plugin. Use only the latest version of the plugin to minimize headaches.
