Introduction:

After I read this sunburn fanfiction: https://archiveofourown.org/works/30022263/chapters/73924065 I thought like:"Yeah this shit's good, it could be in the game". Well guess what, this mod is exactly that!

Overview:

I present to you, OMORI : AFTERWARDS, the game adaptation of some sunburn fic I read over a year ago! The story starts from when SUNNY wakes up in the hospital before telling the truth and is basically a continuation of the original game, ending as SUNNY goes in his mom's car and leaves for the city. So this mod basically shows what happens right after that cliffhanger of an ending we all know and hate.

This is my first mod, it's pretty short and it's mostly dialogues about the characters' feelings than gameplay, it took me two weeks and it was really just a test to see if I could make something, I'm not sure if this is really anything entertraining or well made, but I want to post it anyway to spread glorious Sunburn propaganda.

Recommendations:

Do not load pre-existing savefiles that aren't part of the mod and do not use other mods with this one, just press "New Game" and if you have a savefile you made with the mod on, you can load that, but trying to load original savefiles or othermods' savefiles will likley result in a crash and potentially a thermo-nuclear world war.(real)(it happened to my friend once)

I made the mod myself, but I also have got to give a huge thanks to AestheticallyBlue for literally writing the entire story, I didn't find a way to reach him and tell him about this mod, but even though I added a few things here and there, this entire project wouldn't have been possible without him.
